LNAT Courses at Option

This online test is designed to test your intellectual capabilities rather than your awareness about a specific topic or subject area. There are no facts to absorb for the test; however, we recommend that test-takers developgood reading comprehension skills, by acquainting themselves with the format of the test and the style of multiple-choice questions used.
The questions on the LNAT fall into 7 different categories: philosophy, law, politics, ethics, science, education and media. In-depth knowledge of these subjects is not required, though having a general awareness of current affairs is highly recommended which can help enhance your essay writing skills as well.

 FORMAT OF THE EXAM

The LNAT test is in 2 sections which is 2 hours and 15 minutes long.

Section A
This section consists of 42 multiple choice questionsare based on 12 argumentative passages, with three, four or five multiple choice questions on each.
The total time for this section is 95 minutes.

Section B
This section, requires test takers to write their response to 1 of the 3 essay prompts offered on a range of subjects.
The total time for this section is 40 minutes.

CALCULATION OF SCORE:
Each correct answer in section A is given 1 point. So, the highest score which you can aim for the test is ‘42’ and the minimum ‘0’. However, the essay in Section B is scored by the respective university/universities to which the student applies and is used as part of the admission process.
